Privacy
This site uses Google Analytics, and nothing else. We do not run advertising, we do not ask you for any personal details, and analytics is the only third-party script on any page.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies in your browser and records which pages you view, an approximate location worked out from your IP address, and basic device and browser information. It does not collect your name, your email or your address.
That data is processed by Google on our behalf, under Google’s privacy policy. If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. We do not ask for your name or email, there are no accounts, and there is no comment system. The analytics described above is the only measurement on the site, and we do not use it to build profiles of individual people.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard server request logs in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. That is a necessary part of delivering any website.
Filter settings
When you use the platform or date filters, the selection is written into the address bar so you can share or bookmark the filtered view. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
Links to broadcasters
Some links to streaming services are affiliate links. When you follow one, the destination and its affiliate network may set cookies on their own sites under their own privacy policies and consent notices. We have no access to that data and receive only anonymous, aggregate reporting about whether a referral converted. See our affiliate disclosure for the detail.
Calendar subscriptions
Subscribing to a calendar feed means your calendar application periodically requests a file from this site. We do not know who you are, and we do not track subscriptions.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have rights of access, correction and erasure over personal data held about you. We hold no data that identifies you, and the analytics figures we see are aggregate counts rather than records about a named person, so in practice there is nothing for us to look up. If you would rather not be counted at all, use the Google opt-out add-on above. If you have a question, write to contact@sportsguide.ie.
